What an experience! I must say that this session was one of the best sessions I have attended, due in no small part to the expertise of Dr. Mark not only from a content stance but as a facilitator as well. Dr. Mark was able to guide a room of strangers to get to a place of such comfort that we were able to have open and honest communications about not only our communication styles but diving into generally “touchy” territory of cultural discrepancies with not only our schools but within the education system as a whole! Something that really stood out to me and provided me with a great deal of hope for where education is headed is when Dr. Mark stated, “We pushed the system and made changes which is not easy, and now we’ve passed it on to this generation, you will push and make great changes starting where we left off”!
